There are those who hate. And there are those who hate those who hate. But the result is still more hate.
If we claim to love people, but hate those who hate others, we are no different.
Problem is that many people think they are loving group A by hating the group B that hates group A. They defeat their own purpose. They hurt people in the name of loving people.
You can’t fight hatred with hate for those who hate. Or eliminate exclusivity by being exclusive to the exclusive. Or end intolerance with intolerance toward the intolerant. BE the change you want to see, not a reflection of what you don’t want to see.
Jesus’ message was to love our neighbor AND to love our enemy. In essence, to love those who love us and love those who hate us because only love can breed more love.
